The "315 Happy Reunion Dinner" had drawn to a conclusion at the Spring Garden Restaurant, S'pore on 15th Mar 2014. On recalling the event, there were 109 students, young & old attended this auspicious occasion. Some were from S'pore, Sarawak, Sabah, JB, KL & as far up as USA. 2 honourable reporters from " Lian He Zao Bao " were cordially invited. Many students expressed with joy yet with a little sadness & regret for not seeing one another for so many years, approximately 30 to 50 years! Most were old & grey & beyond recognition. Some have become Granpas & Grandmas. Most were once young & pretty, smart & handsome had turned old & grey. Time & tide waits for no man. Be active gracefully. Joy & warmth filled the evening with sparkled drinks & delicacies. The night was so memorable.
This is Ngee Ann's Big Family, enhanced with loves & affections, so pure & eternal. The occasion was full of laughters & fun. There was not a single dull moment with alumni giving speeches, renditions & the most enjoyable Karaoke!
The excitement moment of the event & highlight of the night was giving away the Souvenir Banners to alumni for their good spirits and achivements shown in Ngee Ann's Spirit by our Sabah Advisor Mr. Wong Chow Hin.

In response to DZ's & JZ's requests for opposing the Govt's Educational Masterplan, NAAKL has expressed its eventual full support!
Nonetheless the ultimate objective of this transformation is to erode the already established Chinese education & the eventual demolition of its existence.
The Chinese education has long been established with its inset mother tongue & the root must not be forsaken.
The Educational Masterplan is basically a Malay Education emphasis. The immensely increased periods in Malay subjects have forced the Chinese subjects to be invariably reduced comparatively. As a result it affects the existing quality of the primary education.
To the Chinese community, it's not an anticipation but rather a series of past encounters that have happened in the past which have undermined its development & policy.
It's this type of implication that gradually eats into our Chinese educational policy & the obstruction it brings about in the future development.
We hereby strongly urge all the Chinese Community to be united, forget about the past differences, to protect our mutual interest for the sake of our Chinese education.
Regarding the Remove Classes, we also urge the Govt to be more vigilant in exercising its rights towards a good teaching quality & uphold the National Language.
Last but not least, NAAKL also reminds its members not to forget to spread the news as well as to render your full support towards DZ & JZ for the signature petitions.
